Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress who is most well-known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter an academic, as well as Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actor, director, producer, playwright as well as Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending play rehearsals. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still a kid. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was awarded from St. Thomas University, 1997. The early stage work she did included two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles during the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. When she got engaged in 2008, they married in 2009. After she had converted to Judaism, they renew their vows in an Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman's birth took place in May 2013, a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk became pregnant during production of the season three finale and announced this to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season and on June 20 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to return to work on the show. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couple with the same name in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples ever. E! Magazine declared that they were the top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Because of Silk's popularity Silk has earned a significant online following on social media.
